Our Services
Our Goal is to provide financial assistance to individuals unable to work while undergoing cancer treatment. Gracewill, Inc. is honored to assist with:
Utilities: gas, including propane, electric, water
Phone: Cell or Local
Mortgage/Rent: Mortgages in Default will not be considered.
Medical Expenses: *Update….At this time, we will only be offering help with prescription costs related to a cancer diagnosis. Medical bills will be considered, again, down the road, but for now our priority is to help people with expenses where payment plans are not an option.
Insurance: Monthly premiums for self-insured/self-pay policy holders (not co-pays)
Service Guidelines
Our preference is to assist with housing/utilities as patients are often unable to make payment plans for these expenses.
Individuals must be Tennessee residents for no less than one year.
Individuals must be in active treatment for a GYN cancer.
Active treatment is defined as:
surgery, radiations therapy, and or chemotherapy. If no treatment after surgery is needed, request for assistance is to be made within four (4) weeks post-surgery.
Service providers will be paid directly within 8-10 business days upon receipt of completed application with valid documentation, and after committee approval.
Assistance will be limited to one time. At this time assistance will not exceed $1000 per person. In extreme circumstances, Gracewill may consider a special request, however, such requests must be approved by the committee.
*Committee may reference the 2021 200% of the Federal Poverty Guidelines.
